We’ve been discussing the dangers of Glenn Beck’s incendiary rhetoric for years on Ring of Fire, but in the last year, his actions have been taken to a whole new level. And with his recent Tea Party rally in Washington, it became clear that Beck isn’t the only problem out there. We now have tens of thousands of Beck followers in this country who believe that they are intellectually superior to the rest of us, and after seeing how truly brainwashed these people are, this is a very dangerous thing. Mike Papantonio talks about how this brainwashing took place with blogger and author Chauncey DeVega.

I think the point Max was making about Obama selling arms to the Saudi’s was if he would’ve done it any other day than right after the 9/11 anniversary….and I agree.

I just read an article saying that the arms were sold to provide bulwark against Iran, and if we hadn’t sold them, Saudi Arabia would buy them from another country.
I get the feeling Obama is in over his head w/all this, and relying too much on war hawks within his administration.
As for this video, I have yet to see it and comment, but one think strikes me as true:
I have NEVER met a stupid person who Knows that they are stupid because…..you’d have to be Smart, to Know that!
Actually, what I should’ve said about my above link was…it proves Obama is tight with the Saudi’s….he sold them WMD’s the day after 9/11 anniversary and as all of us know, it was the Saudi’s who flew the planes into the towers….how horrible is that?

What reminded me about this ROFR post was that part in the movie “Idiocracy” where Maya Rudolph’s character “Rita” asks Luke Wilson’s character “Joe” or “Not Sure”, “do you think Einstein walked around thinking everyone was a bunch of dumb-sh*ts?…Now you know why he built that bomb.”
Seems like an innoculation effect when it comes to Glenn Beck and the teabaggers – whenever they hear *intelligent* info that they don’t want to hear, they lose control such as when Glenn Beck flipped out on his radio program when a caller had a more intelligent point of view on spending money at home than on the 2 unnecessary wars.
If I hear info that I don’t want to agree with, I am more sensitively open to it.

The reason these tea baggers are successful at what they’re doing is because they are corporate backed. It’s also why these stupid people think they have something to say. Air America shut down because it couldn’t get the ads. They criticized corporations so they couldn’t get the backing. Where as FOX news gets the corporate backing and they know just what to say to brain wash people.
As the article above states, it’s not tea baggers, Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck etc. we have to fear, it’s the corporations. And if we the people don’t do something soon, we are doomed. Being run and controlled by corporations is Fascism.
