The History of Right Wing Hate Talk

Conservative hate talkers are not a new phenomena, and as Mike Papantonio points out on The Ed Schultz Show, hateful and violent rhetoric from the right existed back in the days of JFK, and many believe that this is what led to his assassination.

    Colleen,

It sounds like an interesting book.

I would not want to be involved in politics. I can well understand the need for – maybe the Crucial need for – secrecy.

Too much, though, and it becomes very bad for our nation, which is why, so far, at least, I am supportive of WikiLeaks.

    Mara,
I thought the book sounded interesting, too. I like Staten Island Bob’s web site. It’s mostly about Staten Island, but what he talks about could apply anywhere in the country.

I’m still supportive of WikiLeaks as well.

    Mara, Colleen,

we are all in trouble when Wikileaks or like whistleblowers
are eliminated or marginalized; I agree with you-here’s the latest revelation for Wikileaks:

    chris,
Thanks for the Democracy Now! link. WikiLeaks must stick around. In fact, here is a video about WikiLeaks from RT television. The video is called “The War Against the Interent.”

    Colleen,

interesting on Brasschecktv…thanks. Check this out:

Scott’s desired “polls” (as he rightwing tries to sweep it all under his rug) on Tuscon assassinations has been refuted by CNN, but since we don’t have either the specific population polled, nor specific questions asked, I would prefer not to be reliant on said stats-still, here it is-50% of Americans believes rightwing hate talk is the problem:

I saw that on Keith last night. I watch Keith and Rachel every night. I never miss their shows. Thanks for providing the link so others may see the truth. That hate talk is the problem.

    chris,
That sucks! I heard the rumblings of this Comcast deal for the past year or so. Now it’s come to pass. ROF should be concerned as well. :(
