There is going to be a race taking place between Republicans trying to prevent minorities, elderly, and 18 -25 year olds from voting and Democrats who believe the right to vote is important. The race is taking place in the courts – in an effort to enforce the guidelines laid out in the 1965 Voting Rights Act.

The GOP sure hates it when elections don’t produce desired results for them.
I heard someone on the Ed Show on MSNBC point out the other night that in Wisconsin, when it comes to collecting signatures to recall Scott Walker, there have been unauthorized people who have thrown away those signatures in the trash, and yet, the GOP is silent about how that is really voter fraud – not to mention tampering with recall petition signatures. Plus, the GOP in Wisconsin is pathetic enough to accuse those of collecting signatures of voter fraud when the volunteers collect names like “Adolph Hilter” and “Mickey Mouse”, even though the volunteers were cited in doing a good enough job to detect whether there were any false signatures, which may have been only ONE instance that the GOP blows out of proportion so that they can say that voter fraud “exists”.
What I’d also like to know is whether the 2009 Virginia gubanatorial race for governor was rigged, since I don’t know for sure whether my vote was either counted or shredded. And, as for the youth vote, is there any voter supression for those who are slightly young in either their late 20′s or early 30′s? I ask this since what comes to mind was during that CNN tea party presidential debate a couple months ago, the audience cheered when a question was asked if it was worth it for a 30 year old without health insurance to die (that’s not being pro-life as they’d like to be). So, maybe we can get more discussion on ROFR about voter suppression, among other things affecting America. It’s certainly been very quiet on the ROFR website for days or even a couple weeks, and I seem like the only one who is commenting the most by leaving roughly one post in the comments section of these ROFR posts.
All in all, it seems clear that the Right is against voter rights (in particular).
