I remember when W was still president and he was asked in a press conference how he would go about ending the war in Iraq, and he uttered that it is for future administrations after him to determine. Well, seems like Obama is essentially the answer to that since he ended the war in Iraq shortly before last Xmas and took out OBL one year ago from today. Republicans don’t really want to see ends to wars since they like finding ways for their private defense contractors to profit from them, along with numerous casualties along the way, both Americans and civilians from overseas.

Now, although we weren’t attacked on American soil for some time, let’s not forget that in 1993, there was that Ryder truck bombing at the WTC under Clinton’s watch. But, even so, it didn’t take long for those terrorists to be rounded up, given that the VIN to that Ryder van was found from the fender blown off was found as a major clue in solving that case.

Some say that if W was able to track down and kill OBL, there would’ve been a statue in DC and/or his head mounted on Mt. Rushmore if he really wanted to end the war on terror. All he and Cheney had to run on was fear mongering, which can only work for so long. So, credit is due for Obama given that he ended the war in Iraq, will likely soon end the war in Afghanistan, and has already executed OBL one year ago today. Indeed, Obama sure has *BALLS*! – And as for Romney, some people think he wouldn’t win the election even if it was rigged to his favor, particularly since not all republicans and teabaggers are really cozying up so quickly to him. Romney even admitted at one point that the economy was in fact getting better under Obama, even though he’s also said that Obama has made the economy worse. It’s sort of beyond me why anyone would still want to vote Republican unless they were either in the 1% or easily get fooled all the time into voting against their own best interest.
