I am sure that Ollie North didn’t know that the people who were running arms to the Contras were also the same ones who were running drugs on their return trip to the USA. Or that Bush, Sr. didn’t know anything about the Iran-Contra affair; however, durng his presidential campaign, he stated that he was there when all the great presidential decisions were made at the White House.

Now, isn’t having offshore tax haven accounts (technically) treasonous?

At any rate, there seems to be a reason why Obama is ahead 4 points from Romney in the latest Gallup poll (for now) as a result of more of Romney’s offshore tax haven bank accounts coming to light.

But, if Romney either pulls ahead and/or actually wins the election in November, it would reiterate George Carlin’s point that a lot of Americans are “willfully ignorant” – or that the election was rigged again like it was for Bush, Jr. in 2000 and 2004.

…Other than that, as for the environmental and global warming front, I’ve been thinking what has really gotten into us humans and our carbon footprints that have been resulting in hotter and stormier summer days, yet there are a lot of ignorant people out there, mostly Americans (and maybe the Chinese) who doubt global warming exists or that it is not man-made arguing that every planet in the solar system and across the universe warms up at one point or another. Well, truth be told, as it was recently found that during the age of the dinosaurs, their gassiness (farting) caused global warming at the time they ruled the earth, and so too have us humans contributed the most to global warming with the energy we use in our cars and homes – the dominant species on earth (and possibly some other planets) is clearly responsible for emitting greenhouse gasses into the air and ground.
