How could this guy run for anything? Mitt Romney won’t show his tax returns and he was involved in off-shoring too. This guy is to big to run this country he don’t understand the mid class

Pap you keep blaming the American people for being stupid and that is the primary reason why the Duke CEO gets away with earning 44 million for one day’s work. But the truth is, the American people are soooo busy trying to keep thier heads above water (due to the haves tanking the economy and offshoring jobs for insane profits) and the Duke CEO story is not covered on CNN or Morning Joe. I think of myself as informed, but you can’t blame the American people for not knowing what the news media consistently doesn’t cover. The haves in this country own the media and therefore these important stories aren’t being covered.

One last point, I think the American people, even when informed, feel powerless to do anything about these corupt abuses. We fought hard for campain reform and then Citizen’s United does an end-run around that legislation and manipulates the system and opens the flood gates to unlimited money. What can the average American do against so much money, and power? Call thier Congressman or woman? Even if they really wanted to do something, Industry/Wall St. can and will bury them in negative ads. I guess we’re too stupid to earn enough money to game the system. We’re too stupid to get the 5 million dollar an hour jobs that pay us extreme bonuses when we screw up. Or we’re just too stupid to operate our businesses in a manner that craters the US enconomy and then get our friends in high places to help us make the stupid hard working slubs to pay for our massive corrupt behavior and then pat ourselves on the back with obscene bonuses out of the American’s tax dollars. I’m the first to admit I’m too stupid to figure out how to do business in such a distructive manner, make massive money from it, and get away with it.

We have the best democracy money can buy and the average American can no longer afford to buy thier share fair of it.
