Reminds me of a couple things Keith Olbermann said regarding Bush and Cheney in the few years after 9/11:

    1. They did NOT make us safer and didn’t save anyone AFTER 9/11 as they sent soldiers to Iraq and Afghanistan to die (either in combat with insurgents and/or suicide from so much PTSD trauma)

    2. Bush and Cheney waged wars to benefit THEMSELVES and not the troops in combat and coming home (from PTSD) in anticipation that history will look back favorably on Bush/Cheney waging war (but history will likely prosecute Bush and Cheney if they are not tried at the Hague for war crimes).

…Additionally, Keith Olbermann also argued that if Bush, Jr. really did support the war in Iraq, then he should go over there to fight it HIMSELF.

All in all, as Pap said a couple or so months ago, the GOP loves romanticizing war…Yet, it was Obama who sent Navy SEAL team 6 to go after OBL while Bush said he wasn’t that interested in finding him. So, I could imagine why Obama made a very short phone call to Bush to simply say “OBL is dead” the night of his execution.
